About Spencers

Spencer’s Retail Limited, part of RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, is a multi-format retailer providing a wide range of quality products across categories such as food, personal care, fashion, home essentials, electrical & electronics to its consumers. It has specialty sections such as Spencer’s Gourmet, Patisserie, Wine & Liquor, Epicuisine and an in-house designed fashion brand - 2Bme, which has apparels for men, women and children.

Spencer’s introduced Indian consumers to the concept of organized retailing. It was the country's first grocery chain back in 1920, and started India’s first hypermarket in 2001 in Hyderabad. Today, Spencer’s runs over 125 stores, in over 35 cities across India.

    We are a regular visitor to this store. One of the reason being its parking. Easy to park vehicle right in front of the store and drive out fast without any hassle. The collection of cloths are also very nice.. many of our apparel purchases are made from here. The bedsheet section is also well curated. Another attraction of this store is its availability of fish and other non veg items. They are freshly cut and delivered. The quality is also nice. As for the grocery, vegetables and FMCG products, the cost is bit higher when compared to DMart, Reliance Mart or Big Bazaar. Also attractive offers are missing in most items and rarely have we found appealing discounts. They have recently started home delivery, which we are yet to try.
